Doina Fischer teaches in the Classical style and brings her European background and study with the former director at the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Equestre in Jerez, Spain, Luis Ramos Paul, to her students. She prefers to teach 2 lessons a day to each participant making the clinic experience intensive and repetitive so that lessons are well learned and explored. These clinics are one to one private lessons. A more intimate and focused bond is forged between horse and rider. In the mornings Doina Fischer will work the on the lunge, in hand, and under saddle. In the afternoons the rider will work the horse in a lesson. Lunging is an important part of the program and all horses are lunged. Remember that lunging is often the fastest way to reach goals of fitness and training of the horses back to carry the rider. It is also a quick and humane warm up. Thirdly, disobediences and high spirits are more safely dealt with from the ground. . By the end of the three days it is hoped that the rider is experiencing new feedback from the horse and beginning to enjoy the benefits of riding in lightness.
